Devaamo Basics

What is Devaamo

Devaamo is a non-profit association that advances the possibilities for open source development, and supports open source developers in various ways.

We aim at connecting communities, mainly in the Tampere region; and also collaborating with like-minded groups across Finland.

One of the main ways we achieve our aim is by organizing regular events and meetups. Check out what's coming up and join us!

Membership is based on calendar year. Membership dues that were paid in 2011 will be valid through December 2012. Details of membership benefits will be available soon.

Individual membership - 5€ per annum (reference number/viitenumero: 11015)

Our events are open to everyone, regardless of membership.

Upcoming events we are organizing/supporting:

February 2012

Open Hackday Tampere - on 18/2/2012 (Saturday)

- As the title suggests, this is a hacking event open to all
- Great opportunity to meet other hackers and enthusiasts
- 3D printers demo and test
- ~~Qt development with Raspberry Pi~~ (boards will not be received in time)
- Bring your own project and show it off!

The second planning meeting for Devaamo Summit will be held at 14:00 on Hackday. All are welcome to participate!

March 2012

Tre Qt Meetup 3: the Pi edition - on 14/3/2012 (Wednesday)
